TT race and road information Wednesday June 10 10 June 2009

Following a delayed start, the Relentless Supersport TT Race 2 started today at 2pm. This means that the TTXGP and Senior practice sessions and Sure Sidecar 2 races have all been delayed.

It is therefore anticipated that all the crossing points and access corridors around the course will be open between 5pm and 6pm, with roads starting to re-open from St Ninian’s at approximately 8pm. Members of the public are asked to plan their journeys accordingly, and pedestrians will, where at all possible, be granted permission by marshals and police officers to cross the course at other locations.

The following, which are the usual crossing points, will come into operation 5-6pm:

  • Ballaquayle Road and Ballanard Road, Douglas (St Ninian's crossroads)
  • Stoney Road and Tromode Road, Douglas (bottom of Bray Hill)
  • Peel Road between the Quarterbridge and Braddan Bridge (Jubilee Oak)

  • Albert Square and Princes Road, Ramsey
  • Signpost Corner and Bedstead Corner, Onchan and Douglas
  • Governor’s Road and Victoria Road, Onchan and Douglas
  • Victoria Road and Second and Third Avenue, Douglas

  • Old Church Road (Crosby crossroads) and Ballavitchel Road, Crosby
