WOSAT (Western Open Studio Art Trail). WOSAT is an annual festival of the visual arts offering visitors the opportunity to not only view exhibitions of artists work but to visit artists studios, normally very private spaces, and to see and chat to artists demonstrating a wide variety of media in several public venues. There will also be childrens art try-outs available at many venues as well as some studios. Many try-out demonstrations are suitable for both adults and children. Although based in Peel and the west of the Island, WOSAT involves approximately 40 artists from all over the Isle of Man. Artists range from realism wildlife artists to abstract and cover a wide variety of media. including wood carving, photography, printing, textiles and ceramics as well as painting and drawing.
