We’ve listened to the feedback we’ve had so far, and it’s been very useful in putting together the fares and timetables that we’re announcing today”. Manx2’s website is now live and taking bookings, as well as providing more information about the new local airline. It includes a special low fare finder which enables passengers to see all the fares available for a particular month and choose the one they want. contains full details of the airline’s timetables, baggage policy and fare structure. “As well as raising awareness of Manx2 in the Isle of Man, we have also been working hard to promote the Island throughout the regions we’ll be serving - Northern Ireland, Yorkshire, Lancashire and the Lake District and the response has been very encouraging”, says Noel. also gives details of the significant number of connecting flights with the top low cost carriers, so that Islanders can get away to a range of top destinations across Europe and further afield. Packages can be booked through Manx2’s partner in the Isle of Man, Freedom Travel. “Today is a significant milestone for Manx2, and takes us a big step nearer our launch date for the first two routes of July 15th”, says Noel. “One of the main points we plan to demonstrate to local people is that we have the experience, knowledge and resources to be successful, and prove that we are committed to building a strong route network for Islanders to use for many years to come – if they click on they will be able to learn much more about us, and see that we laying foundations for the long term”. -Ends- For more information about Manx2 or to arrange pictures or an interview, please contact Kirsten Morel on 01534 735253
