West Coast Trunk Main phase 2 - Ballaugh to Kirk Michael 3 October 2006

The ongoing Capital Investment Mainslaying Programme in the West Coast designed to bring better quality water to all parts of the Island is progressing well. The first phase of this work, using the Heritage Trail between Sulby and Ballaugh, is nearing completion ahead of schedule. The second phase from Ballaugh to Kirk Michael is due to commence on 5th October, 2006.

It is necessary to close this section of the Heritage Trail for a period of up to six months, reopening sections of the Trail as and when the work in such sections is completed and keeping to a minimum the overall length remaining closed at any given time.

The Isle of Man Water Authority apologises for any inconvenience caused by this temporary closure and requests the forebearance and understanding of the public during this period of necessary works.

Should you have any queries please contact Tadhg O'Mahoney of Auldyn Construction Limited on 662466 and/or the Isle of Man Water Authority Customer Services Department on 695949.
