Douglas Orders 26 January 2007

The Department gives notice that it has made the following Orders under Sections 1, 10 and 11 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1985:

1. BOROUGH OF DOUGLAS (HILLS MEADOW INDUSTRIAL ESTATE) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2006 – the effect of which will be on and from Wednesday 7 February 2007 to impose no waiting restrictions on sections of roads within Hills Meadow Industrial Estate, Douglas.

2. BOROUGH OF DOUGLAS (HILLS MEADOW INDUSTRIAL ESTATE) (PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2006 – the effect of which will be on and from Wednesday 7 February 2007 to designate a section of the roads in Hills Meadow Industrial Estate as a car park for vehicles under 7½ tonnes laden weight.

Parking will be available from midnight to midnight but will be limited to a maximum stay of 16 hours in any one day.

Copies of the Orders are available for inspection at the Department’s Highways reception desk on the ground floor at the Sea Terminal, Douglas, or Douglas Corporation, by any person, free of charge, during normal office hours.
