TT Centenary Exhibition Attracts Biggest Visitor Crowd Ever Recorded 14 June 2007 In its first two weeks of opening, Manx National Heritage has recorded almost seventeen and a half thousand visits to the Manx Museum, where the Island’s TT centenary exhibition 'Staying the Course' is currently being staged.  This exhibition has attracted the biggest visitor crowd ever recorded at the Manx Museum and is one of the largest temporary exhibitions Manx National Heritage has ever staged, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the TT races and the people who have made them what they are – the riders, the marshals, the officials and of course the fans. Commenting on the popularity of the exhibition, Matthew Richardson, Curator for Social History for Manx National Heritage said: “Manx National Heritage has been overwhelmed by many thousands of local and international visitors to the TT Centenary exhibition, which was so popular over the TT fortnight that visitors were literally queuing at the doors. Even after the TT fortnight, the exhibition continues to be extremely popular and it is a real pleasure to see so many visitors enjoying the exhibition and giving us such positive feedback”. Anneliese Popelier, from Perth, Western Australia, said: “As a motorcycling fanatic, the exhibition is truly amazing. We have spent almost a month on the Isle of Man and whilst there’s so much to see on the Island, we keep coming back to Manx Museum and have visited the exhibition several times!” ‘Staying the Course’, which includes the opportunity to enjoy the ‘TT Superbikes’ Playstation 2 game, is open Monday to Saturday, 10am – 5pm, until 15th September 2007.
