Press Release 19 December 2007 - ARI to go ahead 19 December 2007

Further to the publication by the Treasury on 26 October 2007 of a proposal to replace the distributable profits charge, or DPC, Tynwald approved an Order at its sitting on Tuesday 11 December 2007 that will repeal the DPC system and introduce the attribution regime for individuals, or ARI, from 6 April 2008.

Details of the ARI are contained in the proposal document, available via the Income Tax Division website.

Further guidance on the new system will be published in due course.
