Financial Sanctions: Terrorist Financing 14 January 2008

The Treasury today directs that any funds or economic resources held for or on behalf of the individual named below, must be frozen, and that no funds or economic resources should be made available, directly or indirectly , to or for the benefit of that person, except under the authority of a licence issued by the Treasury.

Financial institutions and other persons are requested to check whether, they maintain any accounts or otherwise hold any funds or economic resources for, or provide financial services to, the named individual, and, if so, they should freeze the accounts or other funds, or economic resources, suspend the provision of financial services (unless licensed by the Treasury) and immediately report their findings to the Sanctions Officer.
