Financial Sanctions: Liberia 7 October 2008

This news release is issued in respect of the financial measures applicable to the former Liberian President, Charles Taylor, and certain persons associated with him.

The Treasury advises that following the adoption of Commission Regulation (EC) No 973/2008, the Commission of the European Communities has amended the list of persons subject to financial sanctions.
