Telephone problems at the Department of Health 10 January 2013

The Department of Health, amongst other areas of the Isle of Man Government, is currently experiencing problems with its telephone system. Calls coming in are connecting and the caller can be heard, but the caller cannot hear the person answering the call. The reverse is true for outgoing calls from the Department. This is impacting on a number of services including calls to GP Surgeries and the Central Community Health Centre in Douglas.

The Isle of Man Government’s Information Systems Division is currently working with Manx Telecom to resolve the problem. An announcement will be made once the issue has been resolved. The Department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
