Information

Please collect and complete a Party Booking Form available from NSC reception.

Birthday parties may only be booked up to one month in advance.

Swimming Pools
Swim party bookings should be organised at the times of the Fun Sessions. Please check session times with reception to avoid disappointment.

Radio of Adults to Children: One responsible adult (over 16) per 2 children under 8. One responsible adult (over 16) per 5 children over 8.

In each case the adults must be in the water with the children. Supervising adults admitted at special discount rates. Note that the poolside terrace and walkways are swimwear only areas. No arm bands or swim aids can be hired from the NSC Party members must follow the pool user guide displayed at Reception.

Sports Hall
Radio of adults to children: One responsible adult (over 16) per 10 children.

The Sports Hall party must assemble at reception and wait until their allocated time in the Hall Duty staff will be close by if they are required. Please observe the Sports hall code and ensure that no baggage, loose clothing food or drink are taken into the Sports Hall area. Should members of the party act in an irresponsible manner they may be asked to leave the facilities.

Last Sports Hall booking - 4pm on weekdays.

Please note that when booking a Sports Hall or Swim Party, you will only be permitted to use your chosen activity.

General Conditions
Maximum advanced booking period - one month.

Minimum party size - 10 children.
Maximum party size - 25 children.

Deposit of £51.50 to be paid at time of booking.

Attention is drawn to the supervision ratios for Pool and Sports Hall parties which are the responsibility of the person making the booking.

Inadequate levels of supervision in the water may result in the cancellation of the booking on the grounds of health and safety.

Location

In Pulrose, near Douglas on the east side of the island.

By Vehicle:
Travel to Douglas and then follow signs to Pulrose.

By Bus:
Douglas can be reached by most main bus routes. Buses passing through Pulrose are 1, 1C, 2, 4, 4B, 14.

By Railway:
By Electric Railway, take the trams heading to Douglas. Then walk along the promenade to town to Lords Street. Continue along Lords Street as it turns into Peel Road and then continue on it to Pulrose, about a mile.
(Note: It is a long walk, there are always buses and in the summer a regular service by the Horse Drawn Trams.)

By Steam Railway, take the train to Douglas and then walk along Peel Road to Pulrose, about a mile away.
