TT Formula One Races
The TT Races is part of the TT Festival covering two weeks from the end of May to the beginning of June. The first week consists of practice racing with the second week being the main racing event. The TT (Tourist Trophy) Formula One Motorcycle Races was started in 1977. It use to covers 226.38 miles/364.2 km over 6 laps on the Mountain Circuit, but as of 2004 it changed to 4 laps. The Formula One begins the TT Racing week on Saturday.
