TT Practices
All the TT Practice Races are run on the Mountain Circuit. They start and finish at the Grandstand in Douglas, where seats can be obtained for a modest cost or even free. There are also many free sites around the course to watch the practice racing. Previously there was early morning practices for about 2 hours and late evening practices for an hour. As of 2004, morning practices were discontinued (except in an emergency) and replaced with timed practice sessions during race week. Roads close for practices and this can impact on some spectator locations, which do not allow access to or from until the practice is paused or over.
