Red Arrows
The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team are the Red Arrows. Formed in 1965 as a way to recruit and demonstrate the RAF. The Red Arrow perform impressive examples of formation flying with Hawk aircrafts, British jets flown by a British Team. Displays are available to anyone from late May to mid September on a bid system run by the RAF Participation Committee.
TT (Tourist Trophy) visitors to the Isle of Man can enjoy displays performed by the Red Arrows over the two weeks of the TT Festival.
The flight displays free to the public. They are normally held over the bays of Douglas, Peel and Ramsey during the TT Festival in June. Check times and find a good spot near the coast looking skyward. (Some years not all locations are
available as the Red Arrows run a tendering system.)
To Request a Red Arrow Display. (May end to mid Sept)
