Spiral Stone

History

Boulder rock decorated with spiral patterns. Possibly late Neolithic or early Bronze Age.

Location

In Ballaragh, near Laxey. The site is across from a house.

By Vehicle:
Along the B11, which is off the A2. The site is past King Orry's Grave on the way to Dhoon.

By Bus:
Take bus no 3 which runs between Douglas and Ramsey. Get off at Dhoon and walk to the B11 road, which is visible from the glen stop.

By Railway:
Take the steam railway to Douglas and the electric railway to Dhoon. Walk from the glen stop to the B11 and on to the site.
