STORYLINE SYNOPSIS |
Based on the true story of Agnes McDonnell. Set in 19th century Ireland,
Agnes is a strong, independent English woman in possession of the large
Valley House Estate. James Lynchehaun is the mysterious land agent, who
persuades Agnes to let him manage her estate. Work turns to pleasure as
the couple begin a heated love affair, but passion leads to violence
as James' true identity is revealed.
