STORYLINE SYNOPSIS |
On the Isle of Man Pete Quilliam, a fisherman and Philip Christian, a lawyer
are best friends. Each love Kate Cregeen, the innkeeper's daughter. Pete
wants to marry Kate, but her father will not let him till he has more money.
Eager to have Kate as his wife, Pete heads to South Africa to seek his
fortune. Back at home Kate waits, even though secretly in love with Phil.
When news reaches the Island that Pete is dead, Kate is relieved, but it
is short lived as Pete returns home very wealthy. Soon after Kate and Pete
are wed, but will it all end in happiness?
