Steam Railway, Castletown
The Castletown Steam Railway Station features in this film. Trains still
use the station during the summer months. The station is freely open to the
public.
Railway Goods Shed, Port St Mary The setting for grandpa's cave workshop was Port-St-Mary Railway Goods shed
and when the film crew departed it was left as it is seen in the film and
the false rock walls are still there to date. The goods shed also house's
the old bus that was used in The Brylcreem Boys, this also is as left by the
film crew, still painted in the Irish bus companys colours. Thanks Bob for
your submission.
